GHC was founded on the belief that leadership is the greatest lever for change in global health.

Our leadership development program cultivates undervalued but critical leadership traits for a changing world: systems and design thinking, collaboration, humility, empathy, storytelling, iteration, and adaptiveness. We train our leaders to become more effective while also strengthening their ability to work together across borders and boundaries of all kinds to drive systemic change.

Leaders

Developing proximate, equity-driven leaders to their full potential is a powerful lever for change in global health, during and beyond crises.

Our
Leadership Accelerators

The GHC Leadership Accelerators in the U.S. and Sub-Saharan Africa identify and nurture talented young leaders with a wide range of skill sets and backgrounds. Throughout the yearlong fellowship and beyond, they access robust training, mentorship, coaching, resources, and integration into GHC’s global network.

Our Alumni Program

The fellowship is just the beginning for GHC leaders. Alumni participate in GHC’s curated leadership development offerings, including: management and advocacy training; access to mentorship and coaching; speaking and writing opportunities; seed funding, and more. The program propels their careers, strengthens their capacity, and fosters collaboration for greater impact on health systems.
